GF Sports & Athletic Dental Mouthguards for Braces 2-Pack

GF Sports & Athletic Dental Mouthguards for Braces 2-Pack Review

Athletic Mouthguard for use with braces. Ideal for anyone who has dental braces. These mouthguards are designed to accommodate the extra spacing and size.

  • Sold in a pack of Two for upper and lower mouth. Can be used both combined or separately
  • Flexible material adapts safely around braces
  • No excess bulk which can lead to mouth irritation
  • Combined thickness between teeth provides anti-concussive protection equal to athletic mouthguards worn by professional football players
  • Can be refitted to accommodate tooth movement from orthodontia (just repeat original fitting instructions
  • Patented design
  • Hot water forming
  • Dentist designed
  • Easy tear away tab
  • Thin for maximum comfort
  • Lips and cheeks protected from braces and teeth
  • Made in USA

Pre-fitting instructions:
Place a guard over your upper and lower teeth. Make sure it fits completely over your braces. For best results, be sure your lips are closed and your tongue is against the back of your teeth.

Fitting Instructions:
  • Bring water to a boil on a stove or in a microwave. A minimum water depth of 4'' is required
  • Remove from stove burner or microwave
  • Holding the triangular fitting tab, place the mouthguard in warm water for exactly 3 seconds. More than 3 seconds will shrink the size of the mouthguard
  • After 3 seconds, remove from water and immediately place over teeth and braces. The tray will be warm, but will not burn
  • Suck all the air and water out of the mouthguard so that it fits around the teeth and braces
  • The mouthguard should form around braces so that it will remain in place with the jaw in an open position
  • If the fit is unsatisfactory, repeat the fitting procedure
  • Once satisfied with the fit, tear the fitting tab from the mouthguard and discard
